Restaurants in the vicinity of Kas Tribon
If you don’t fancy cooking or lighting the BBQ – there are plenty of options to go out for a meal. We have listed a few of our favourite restaurants below which are all in close proximity to the villa.
Cactus Café
(ex Trio Penotti) One of our favourites 🙂 The head chef prepares amongst others some fabulous local dishes like Stoba Kabritu (goat stew) and Stoba Karni (beef stew) which are highly recommended! They also organise theme nights on a regular basis.
For some years now located at Rancho el Sobrino in Westpunt, about half an hour’s drive. Evenings only (daily 17:30–21:00); reservation recommended.

Directions:
- Turn right leaving the villa park
- After approx. 1200m take the first right (bistro on corner)
- Drive to the T junction then turn left
- Follow the Weg naar Westpunt past Lagun; Cactus Café is the first palapa on the left, at Rancho el Sobrino.
Shelterrock Paradise
A cosy restaurant owned by a local family and offering tasty Curaçaoan cuisine with a view of the Christoffel Berg. The restaurant is situated on a hill with unobstructed views all round.

Directions:
- Turn right leaving the villa park
- After Soto village turn right at the large T junction ( just before St Cruz snek on the right hand side)
- Continue for approx. 1500m and turn left into the narrow street. There is a sign ‘Shelterrock Paradise’ opposite on the right hand side.
- Continue up the hill following the white arrows.
- You will find Shelterrock Paradise at the top.
Bistro E Lanternu
A nice little restaurant with a simple but very tasty menu. You can also have your meal outside on one of the picnic benches.

- Leaving the villa park – turn right
- After approx. 1200m you will see the bistro is on the corner of the first side street on your right.
Beach Bar & Restaurant Porto Marie
The bar and restaurant in Porto Marie opens daily from 09.30–18.30.They serve good food and delicious cocktails. With a variety of hot meals and sandwiches this is the ideal spot for something to eat after a day’s diving or a day on the beach.

Landhuis Daniel
Enjoy delicious food on the porch of one of the oldest country houses in Curaçao. Breakfast and lunch until 14:00, dinner from 17:00; open all day on Sunday. Approx. a 10 min. drive from the villa.

De Buurvrouw
Enjoy good food and a cosy relaxing atmosphere to go for a drink. For the wine lovers ‘de Buurvrouw’ has its own wine shop where beautiful wines can be purchased to be enjoyed at home.
On the Weg naar Westpunt just past Grote Berg, about a 10-minute drive towards Willemstad. Closed on Monday.

Restaurant Kultura Kòrsou
By now one of our favourites. Genuine local cooking with local ingredients, in the Hofi Mango park between Soto and Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz 23), a few minutes’ drive from the villa. Open during the day only.
